What Are You Training For?

Proper Nutrition is going to optimize your performance.

This is just a friendly reminder that your comfort zone would happily have you rot there.

1.
First pic, 2018: 5 years into CrossFit, 6 or 7 days a week, eating 1200 calories.

2.
Second is 2019: Eating 1400 calories and taking 2 rest days/week.

3.
Third is today: Personal training 5 days/week, eating at least 1800 calories per day.

The point of this is not ‘look I have abs.’ The point of this is that for years I was not properly fueling my body for the strain I was putting it under, because working out for 1-2 hours a day every day and eating less than 1200 calories was my comfort zone. F your comfort zone. Eat more food, drink more water, rest, and repeat.

What are you training for? Write your goals down and look at them every day. Get sick of your own bullshit and write down a goal that will push your limits. Take progress pictures so that when you are feeling like crap you can look back and remember how far you’ve come. Success breeds motivation: meaning YOU will become your own motivation.

Everyone is capable of becoming a healthier version of themselves but not everyone is willing to. Good luck out there, eat food, drink water, lift some things up and put them back down.
